UK fighter medical facility, Fit2Fight, launched a complete Safe MMA medical examinations package at its Liverpool clinic this summer, to include blood tests, a physical examination, brain scans and specialist eye tests.

It has now announced an additional weekly clinic at Pall Mall Medical in Newton-le-Willows, situated just five minutes from the M6 motorway.

Over the last decade, the clinic has established itself as a leading destination for boxers in the UK, offering VIP, one-stop-shop services at affordable prices, aptly adopting the brand name, Fit2Fight, in 2017.

In 2018 after advising Safe MMA on its athlete protocol, the clinic signed up to include mixed martial arts athletes also. The increase in athlete numbers prompted the directors to look for a second site, outside of their base in Liverpool, leading to the expansion to Newton Lee Willows.

It’s hoped this second location will not only provide athletes with more options when booking their annual scans and medicals, but will also cut down on travel time for fighters.

Fit2Fight remains committed to keeping prices as low as possible, with the pricing for Safe MMA’s three levels of assessment at incredible value compared with the rest of the UK.

Director Ann Peet says: “Adding a second location has become a priority for us as we want to offer the same level of service to the MMA fraternity as we do for the boxers, but we just didn’t have the availability. By adding a second clinic we can now cater for many more athletes on more days throughout the week”
